May long weekend!

Shout Out to all the Youth Delegates of BCYAYM!

Young Sojourners: Are you excited for Young Sojourners?  You should be, this year your council has partnered again with Andrew Halladay, David Taylor, and the Sorrento Centre to bring a phenomenal weekend of prayer, play, and praise.  The theme this year is “Elemental Peace,”  and if you want to learn more what that means then you better get your registration form and see what it is all about!  If you chose to join us then you’re in luck, because this year Young Sojourners is on the May long weekend (18-21) which means one full extra day, WAHOOOO!  If you are confused with the age limits that conflict in the poster and the registration form, it is open to anyone between Grade 7 and 25 years old.   Believe this letter's age group over anyone who tells you differently, this one is correct.  So get your forms mailed to the Sorrento Centre, and we hope to see you there!

Young Sojourners is a time to get together with fellow youth, have fun and give back! In gratitude for Sorrento Centre hosting this weekend us young sojourners spend time working on the grounds. For example: Painting cabins, building trails and beach set up. We spend the rest of our time in worship, theme speaker sessions, game time, and meal time.

Fall Conference:  It is in the future for all of you awesome folk, and your council is always working to bring you an awesome fall conference. As usual we will join hands in fellowship over the Thanksgiving weekend, this year in Merritt, BC. This year since we'll be in BC's country music capital we will be roaming the roots and meanings of Christian justice through arts and cultures, specifically many sorts of MUSIC! We are looking forward to having a blast and will be sending you more information about Fall Conference soon! So stay tuned 'cause you won't want to miss out!
